preezie has a mission to bridge the gap between the online and in-store shopping experiences. So, we built the world’s first retail experience platform.

Our high growth, Melbourne based tech startup works with retail partners all over the world. Partnering with brands like Lorna Jane, Baby Bunting and Shaver Shop, preezie is changing the retail and ecommerce landscape one experience at a time. We are on a mission to become one of Australia’s largest and most recognised brands and are looking for people to join us in this incredible ride to build an Australian based global tech unicorn.

How you’ll make an impact

Are you passionate about growing a team and business? Want to work on the ground floor and be directly responsible for a startup’s growth? If so, lets chat. The Head of Sales is a key leadership role for preezie moving forwards. Reporting directly to the founders, we are looking for someone who will bring a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, analytical problem solving, marketing specific knowledge and networks to drive and build out our global sales function.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage and inspire a high performing sales / growth team
  • Take full ownership of the preezie sales playbook, maintaining, versioning and testing as we scale globally
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy, including determining the OKRs, key drivers, campaigns and events
  • Hire, lead and expand the preezie sales team
  • Constantly test and learn our value proposition and approach to the market
  • Developing and managing a reporting framework around the sales pipeline
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the team and their output
  • Actively coach and develop your team to consistently deliver strong results
  • Drive and be responsible for revenue growth
  • Create and own the sales process, systems, proposals, contracts and collaborate with the onboarding and customer success teams
  • Nurture and close enterprise brands
  • Use data driven insights to make decisions
  • Use deep vertical knowledge to partner with the team and build winning strategies
  • Work with department leads to organize and execute on strategies
  • Provide thought leadership within the industry
  • Own forecasts, budgets and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Based in Melbourne or desire to relocate to Melbourne
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Empathetic, positive attitude and a genuine desire to help our team reach their goal
What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5+ years leading a sales / growth team in a software business
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Driven and motivated to hit growth targets
  • Someone with analytical abilities to measure and report on performance
  • A person who wants to “OWN” their domain
  • Experience growing a software business
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Who can take an agile approach to all aspects of a business, creating ideas, executing, testing, versioning and scaling

Bonus points 😊:

  • Experience working in a high growth SaaS startup
  • Knowledge and experience in retail/ ecommerce space
  • An understanding of product led growth initiatives
  • Any experience in performance based marketing or growth
What success looks like

We are building a team and company that will be whispered alongside brands like Afterpay, Canva and Atlassian. The Head of Sales is a pivotal role to continue our high growth.

We are looking for someone who has a proven ability, but is keen to learn and grow with an appreciation of the retail and technology space. We are looking for someone who has experience building and growing a fast-paced business, take ownership of their work and truly see their direct value within a company. This person will have the ability to learn different aspects of what we do and shape their own role and position.
