preezie has a mission to bridge the gap between the online and in-store shopping experiences. So, we built the world’s first retail experience platform.

Our high growth, early-stage, Melbourne based tech startup works with retail partners all over the world. Partnering with brands like Lorna Jane, Baby Bunting and Shaver Shop, preezie is changing the retail and ecommerce landscape one experience at a time. We are on a mission to become one of Australia’s largest and most recognised names and are looking for people to join us in this incredible ride to build an Australian based global tech unicorn.

We are a product led business. From the founders through to customer success and tech, our product is what drives us forward. preezie is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager who can lead our product roadmap moving forward.

How you’ll make an impact

This will be considering a lead and key role. The successful person will own and lead our product roadmap. Reporting directly to the founders and working with heads of department to ensure we build a world class product.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Completely own a product that over 700,000 people and 100 retailers use in 10+ countries
  • Develop our product vision, strategy and roadmap with the founders
  • Create and run OKRs
  • Develop product led marketing growth loop initiatives
  • Scope, design and build user stories and scope product features
  • Planning, designing, and prioritizing what we build, who we build it for and when we build it
  • Create, own and version market feedback loops and identify market opportunities
  • Work closely with department leads and customers to plan and build product improvements
  • Build and create all the processes, structures, coaching and culture we need to build a product and technical team to more than 50-100 people over the next 2 years
  • Owning JIRA and other product management tools
  • Leading and coaching all product team members to support their career growth
  • Build the product team

Requirements:

  • Based in Melbourne or desire to relocate to Melbourne
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Empathetic, positive attitude and a genuine desire to help our team reach their goals
What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5+ years in a product role
  • Has a vision for what the future of eCommerce and retail look like
  • Ability to grow into a lead and build a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A decision maker, someone who can see the big picture and understand the long-term growth plan and make decisions about releases, bugs and more
  • A techy at heart. You need to understand tech stacks and the basics when required. Basic understand of a API, UI and tech trends, in particular when it comes to design, technical choices and communications with developers
  • Understand the impact a product change will have on other parts of the system as well as the commercial impact it may have. Ability to look at things with a bird’s eye view
  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Someone who wants to be on the ground floor of an up and coming unicorn
  • A person who wants to “OWN” their domain

Bonus points 😊:

  • Experience in startups or similar businesses (SaaS)
  • Experience in eCommerce

We are looking for someone who has proven ability to learn and grow and appreciation of the retail and technology space. We are looking for well experienced applications, even those who may not have been given the opportunity to grow, take ownership of their work and truly see their direct value within a company. This person will have the ability to learn different aspects of what we do and shape their own role and position.
